The journal started in June,1964, named Quhua. In August,1972, it was renamed Technology
Communication. In May,1979, the title was changed into Quhua Technology.
In 1994, the journal started its open publication with the title Chemical Production and
Technology.
Chemical Production and Technology, openly published at home and abroad, is a core journal on
chemical industry and chemical engineering. The journal persists in direction of large chemical
industry, stresses practice and advance, faces chemical industry enterprises and scientific
organs. It timely reports the scientific and technological achievements, developing situation,
provides new product and technology information, practical techniques and technical reform and
innovation experiences. Therefore, it is really helpful for technicians and staff in chemical
